Perhaps the AGORA Music Nights series' most popular concert is "One Hundred Blow Together!" And although the production has long outgrown the Music Pavilion in Tatabanya, it keeps expanding every year, because plenty of good wind players can still fit into a small space.

This year, the Tatabánya Town Wind Orchestra invited the Komárom Town Egressy Wind Orchestra and the Amberg Wind Orchestra (Knappschaftskapelle der Stadt Amberg) as guests.

Guest of honor: László Marosi, two-time Artisjus Award winner, FAME Award-winning conductor, UNESCO "Ambassador of Peace," retired professor at the University of Central Florida.

Conductors of the event: Ferenc Szabó, István Szicsó Guest conductors: Anton Lottner, László Marosi

Amberg Wind Orchestra: The Amberg Wind Orchestra looks back on more than 185 years of history, and throughout its existence, it has been closely intertwined with the mining traditions of the city of Amberg. This historical background also plays a defining role in the orchestra's community values: camaraderie, friendship, and togetherness remain fundamental pillars of its work to this day. Alongside preserving these traditions, however, the orchestra's most important driving force remains its devoted love of music.

Komárom Town Egressy Wind Orchestra: Founded in 1997, the Komárom Town Egressy Wind Orchestra was formed from students of the Egressy Béni Music School and has now grown into an ensemble of 40–50 members. Their repertoire ranges from traditional wind music to film scores and concert wind pieces. The orchestra has performed successfully at numerous domestic and international festivals and has earned several top gold ratings at MAFUMASZ competitions. In 2014 it received the Pro Urbe Award, and in 2020 the title of "City Orchestra" from the Municipality of Komárom. The ensemble has been conducted by Ferenc Szabó, a Hidas Frigyes Award-winning conductor, since its founding.

Date: Aug 1, 2026 Location: Music Pavilion, Tatabanya, Hungary.
